Circa 1950 Jim Konstanty Single Signed ONL Baseball PSA LOA. Konstanty was the 1950 NL MVP Award winner, he appeared in a then-record 74 games, all in relief, winning 16 and leading the league in saves with 22. His accomplishments that season not only led the Phillies to their first pennant in 35 years, but also earned Konstanty the MVP Award at season's end, becoming the first relief pitcher to ever win the award. This is one of three Konstanty single signed baseballs that is known to exist. What is even more appealing about this specific ball is that it was also signed in 1950 during Konstanty's MVP season. For MVP collectors, this is an extremely rare opportunity to add a nearly impossible ball to your collection.
