Very few Dazzy Vance single signed baseballs are known to exist. He was inducted into the HOF in 1955 and died in 1961, leaving behind only a handful of legitimate singles to go around. This one features one of the best signatures you will ever find on a baseball, signed in black fountain pen ink "A.C.Dazzy Vance" perfectly placed on the sweet spot. The ball has been shellacked which resulted in the yellow color but is also why the signature is so well preserved. In a 2023 REA Auction a very similar ball with shellac sold for $7,200.00. Includes JSA LOA.
