Unique Ted Williams Inscribed 1960 My Last Home Run Signed 16x20 Photograph 1/1 PSA LOA. What a way to end one of the most remarkable careers in baseball history. On Sept. 28th, 1960, Williams took to Fenway Park for his final game, playing against the Baltimore Orioles. Williams smashed a solo home run to deep centerfield off Jack Fisher for the final home run of his illustrious career. This was Ted's proudest moment on a baseball field. This one of a kind photograph is unique in so many ways it hard to put into words. First the photograph itself is unique, it was created using two images, one of Ted Williams swinging for the last time and another of Ted Williams rounding the bases for the last time in the final game of his career. Secondly, the image was signed and inscribed, "Ted Williams, 1960, My Last Home Run". Finally, the photograph is also signed by Carl Yastrzemski, bringing the photo full circle because after this last Home Run Ted passed the torch to the young Carl Yastrzemski who would go on to be the next Red Sox Hall of Fame outfielder to take Ted's place. This is truly a very unique and one of a kind photograph that comes full circle in more ways than one! It is likely the only piece in existence that Ted Williams signed with this incredible inscription. The photograph originates from the Brearley Collection which is stamped on the backside of the photograph. Includes PSA/DNA LOA.
