Only Known Jack Scott Single Signed Baseball. Jack Scott was a notable Major League pitcher (1916-1929) for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Braves, Cincinnati Reds, New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies. He was a valuable member of the 1922 World Series Champion New York Giants and pitched a four-hit shutout in game 3 of the World Series. Scott passed away in 1959 and his signature is very rare in any variation. This is the only single signed baseball that is known to exist. The blue ballpoint signature is very large and rates approximately a 6/10 in strength. The ball is in near mint condition with a few scattered toned spots. The year “1955” is neatly written on side panel in period ink. Includes a Full Letter of Authenticity from JSA (#BB11994).
