The Finest Red Faber Single Signed ONL (Giles) Baseball. Faber led the White Sox to the 1917 World Championship with a 3-1 record in the World Series, and was a member (not a participant) of the infamous 1919 "Black Sox" team. He persevered through illness and injury, a world war, and the Black Sox Scandal to win a place in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Faber died in 1976 and is a particularly difficult single signed ball to obtain. Only a handful of legitimate examples are known to exist. Presented here is arguably the finest example known to exist! The blue ink signature is huge and rates approximately 8/10 in strength. The ONL (Giles) ball is in near mint condition with perfect factory stampings. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to own the best of the best. Full LOA from JSA (#BB44449).
